If we do back to distance learning, I will go step by step and explain everything so that everyone understands how to use the websites and learning apps before assigning any work. All you need to do is try your best and ask questions whenever you need help. Our year will be unlike any before, but I will continue to work hard to make it great.

Knowing and following the Zoom expectations will be very important to the overall learning environment.
Here are some helpful links that may be useful throughout the distant learning journey.
PVSD District Guidelines:
•Based on state-defined criteria, schools in Ventura County will begin the year in distance learning. As conditions improve, schools may be able to re-open.
• Students will have DAILY live synchronous instruction in all grade levels.
• This instruction will include a lesson followed by guided practice time in order for teachers to check for understanding.
• Teachers will provide online community-building activities to support student engagement.
• Instruction will be followed by independent work activities that are accomplished either digitally or through student consumables, textbooks or other activities.
• Students will use district-adopted materials
• Teachers will develop Google Classrooms (2-8) to organize content.
• Teachers will begin each day with a whole group activity and then transition to the learning block.
• There will be synchronous daily ELA and Math instruction.
In addition, two to three times per week, students will work in small groups with the teacher in order to receive more targeted support.
• Students will be assigned independent learning tasks as reinforcement.
• Students will have alternating science and history synchronous lessons throughout the week
